NJSA Open Results

Marko Fourie took honours in the Boys u/19 event by beating Cleelynd Potgieter 3-0 in the Northerns Junior Open Squash tournament final on Sunday. It was a turnaround from the Start of the season tournament and bodes well for the season to come.

Overall there was a great spirit under the juniors, especially playing in the team competition celebrating World Squash Day. It was a festive atmosphere with balloons and posters brightening up the venue.

SA Masters IPT Results

Northerns achieved good results in the SA Masters IPT that took place in East London in September:

  • Men 35A-section, A-team – 1st
  • Men 35A-section, B-team – 3rd
  • Men 40C – 4th
  • Men 45A – 1st
  • Men 45B – 6th
  • Men 50B – 2nd
  • Men 55A – 3rd
  • Men 60A – 2nd
  • Men 55C – 1st
  • Men 65A – 2nd
  • Ladies A – 5th
  • Ladies C – 3rd
