What a brilliant day of energy, laughter, and friendly competition at the MacNab Day held in Pierre van Ryneveld!
This was no ordinary sports day — this was a true test of versatility and teamwork, where each duo took on three different codes in one fun-filled event: Squash Doubles, Table Tennis, and Pickleball. Yes, you read that right — all in one day!
We had an enthusiastic mix of players, from seasoned squash veterans to newcomers who took on pickleball with pure grit (and a bit of Googling the rules on the spot!). But that’s what made the day so special — the mix of camaraderie, challenge, and plenty of light-hearted banter between matches.
The Format: Teams of two competed across all three sports, earning points in each discipline. It wasn’t just about skill in one code — it was about consistency, communication, and a sense of humour when your partner smashes the table tennis ball into the next court.
Everyone came to play hard and laugh harder. It was competitive, yes — but more than that, it was collaborative and filled with that unique MacNab energy: cheeky, determined, and totally up for the challenge.
🏆 The Champions
A massive congratulations to Brett & Freddy, who took the top honours on the day! Their teamwork and consistency across all three sports earned them the win — well played, gents!
Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, cheered each other on, and brought their best game (in all three codes!). And a special shoutout to our organisers who made sure the day ran like clockwork — your planning, setup, and smiles made it all happen.
We’re already talking about the next one — and we might just add darts to the mix… who knows?
