NSA Load shedding bylaws

Should any fixture be affected by load shedding the following rules will be applied by Northerns in determining points with immediate effect:

  1. Any individual matches completed will stand and count towards the final result.
  2. Any individual matches not yet completed must be started from the beginning and may be arranged at the convenience of the two players concerned.
  3. Any matches not completed must be completed before the next league fixture takes place.
  4. Fixtures affected by load shedding must be conveyed to Northerns at admin@northerns.co.za within 24 hours so that no late penalties are implemented when the results are entered.

NJSA High Schools League 2015 Information

MATCHES TO BE PLAYED ON THE FOLLOWING DATES

15th May, 22ndMay, 29h May, 24th July, 18th September, 25thSeptember

Teams must be entered by 23rd of March and the current school ladder must accompany the application.

Cost of entry:  R250 per team.

Blitz League Finals

THe Finals of the Blitz league are taking place today, Thursday 12 February. All ladies matches are at PCC. Mens matches are as follows:
Final : CSIR vs Centurion at PCC
3rd Place: Adelaars vs PCC at PCC
5th Place: TUKS vs HAD002 at Quins
7th Place: Uitsig vs HAD001 at Quins
9th Place: CBT vs PHS at Quins
There will be a bring and braai at PCC after the finals with a short prizegiving.

NSA League

Please note that the 2015 NSA leagues will be starting on Wednesday 18 February. The league fixtures are now available on the website. To print the fixtures clubs must click on league standings and there will be a tab for PDF print version. Clubs are alo reminded to allocate score loaders for the 2015 season on their club website.

Men’s Blitz league playoffs fixtures

All matches for Wednesday 11 February to be played at CSIR:
Centurion vs Adelaars
PCC vs CSIR
Uitsig vs TUKS
HAD002 vs HAD001

CBT vs PHS will take place on Thursday at Harlequins

Final and 3rd place playoff will be at PCC ON Thursday. 5th, 7th and 9th place matches will be at Harlequins.

Marking & refereeing course

On Saturday, 21 February 2015 there is a Level 2 marking & refereeing course at Harlequins club at 9h00. Cost is R50 per person.

Players please note that you have to renew your marking & refereeing qualification every 2 years and league players need at least a Level 2 qualification.

Results of the Northerns junior open round robin tournament

This past weekend saw more than 150 juniors compete in the first Northerns junior tournament of the year. The format was round robin in age groups, which pitched the strongest players against each other tough groups. The players delivered some excellent squash.
