Juniors shine at IPT’s
2016 has been a very good year for Northerns at the Junior Inter Provincial Tournaments. We sent 16 teams to the IPT’s. The format for the u11’s is a festival, with no medal winners announced. From a potential 13 teams, of which 2 were C-sides playing in the B-sections, the following 6 teams won medals:
GOLD: U16A boys, U14A girls, U13A boys, U13B girls
SILVER: U19A boys, U16B boys
The following players were selected for the SA team to Malaysia (Top 5 in each age group):
- U19: Callan Hall, Nothando Ntimane
- U16: Mikael Clayton, Helena Coetzee
The following players achieved SA Top 10 rankings (only age groups u14 to u19 have rankings):
- U19: Callan Hall, Nico Ras, Nothando Ntimane
- U16: Mikael Clayton, Stefano Pitsillis, Joha van der Merwe, Helena Coetzee
- U14: Valmé Webster, Jeanemie Vorster, Danica Capazorio
