The NJSA start of the season tournament took place this past weekend and more than 130 players participated. There were many players from other provinces including Gauteng, Easterns, WP and even from Botswana.

  • This indicates all players 1st Round matches and full draws for the weekend.
  • We had another injury withdrawal SO u16 Boys, the players that end in the 25 – 32 section after the 1st round will revert to a Round Robin Format.  The tournament organiser will release that draw this evening but your matches remain as is for tonight (Friday).
  • It also indicates ALL of Friday’s matches so some players will have more than 1 match on Friday.
  • There is a court allocation schedule that is colour coded per age group and is numbered, indicating the Match Number that will correlate to the detailed draw.

At this prestigious awards function the exceptional performances of our junior, senior and masters players in 2014 will be recognised, including the NSA leagues, various IPT’s and individual achievements.

Henning Holtzhausen and Makgosi Peloakgosi were the respective winners in the boys and girls under 19 sections at the NJSA Open tournament held this weekend.

Northerns Junior Open, Boys & Girls u11, u13, u14, U16 and U19.

This past weekend saw 3 teams from Pretoria Schools participate in the St Andrews Squash Festival. Pretoria Boys High School sent 2 teams to the festival and St Albans sent one team.

PBHS A won their matches against Kingswood 6-0, Rondebosch 6-0, Selborne College 6-0 and Michaelhouse 5-0. They lost against St Andrews Bloemfontein 2-3.

PBHS B won against St Andrews Grahamstown 5-1, Grey B 4-2 and Parktown Boys High 3-3 (on games). They lost against Westville 2-4 and Kearsney 2-4.

St Albans lost their matches against Kearsney 1-5, Queens College 1-5, Parktown 1-5, St Andrews Grahamstown 2-4 and St Andrews 1-5.

The NJSA Open round robin tournament took place this past weekend. The Boys u19 winner was Marko Fourie, with runner-up Cleelynd Potgieter. The Girls u19 winner was Makgosi Peloakgosi and runner-up Boipelo Montwedi.

Please find attached the draw for this weekend’s tournament – click through to the NJSA Open tournament page for the draws.  Just a few very important notes:

  • We are using Pretoria Country Club (PCC) and CBC Old Boys (CBCOB).  Please check carefully where you are playing.  Under 11 and 13 will be at CBCOB with some exceptions on Sunday and from under 14 – 19 will play at PCC. Entrance to CBC is Read more
